For early learning centres
Calmer transitions. Easier group times. Children who know how to settle themselves.
The COMPAS Term Partnership brings structured emotional development into your centre through playful yoga, breath and story. Your educators get support, your children get lifelong tools, and your day gets noticeably calmer.
You know the moments.
Drop-off tears that ripple through the room. The transition to mat time that takes fifteen minutes and everyone’s patience. The child who feels everything at full volume, and the educator quietly running on empty beside them.
These moments aren’t behaviour problems. They’re children who haven’t yet learned what to do with big feelings, and educators doing their best without a shared toolkit.
That’s what COMPAS gives your centre: a common language for calm that children, educators and families can all use.
What your centre notices
Smoother transitions
Children learn simple body-and-breath cues that help them shift between play, group time and rest.
Easier group times
Sessions build focus and self-settling, so children arrive at the mat ready, not wound up.
Supported educators
Every program includes practical tips your team can use between sessions, so the calm doesn’t leave when I do.
A story families love
Children bring the Northern Star language home. Parents hear about it at pickup, and it reflects beautifully on your centre.
Compliance made simple
Woven into your program, not added on top
COMPAS sessions directly support the Early Years Learning Framework.
Program documentation is provided each term, ready for your QIP evidence.
- Outcome 1 (Identity): children build confidence and a sense of security through predictable, safe practices
- Outcome 3 (Wellbeing): emotional regulation, body awareness and self-settling are the heart of every session
- Outcome 4 (Learning): focus, persistence and curiosity are practised through movement and story
- Outcome 5 (Communication): children learn words for feelings and simple language to ask for what they need
Inside a session
What a session looks like
Every session follows the COMPAS arc: we begin grounded and connected, open into imagination and play, move through dynamic story-led yoga, pause to notice feelings, practise choosing our response, and land in stillness with a tool the children keep.
One week we’re superheroes learning that strong bodies can be still bodies. Another we’re sailing a stormy sea and finding the Northern Star that guides us home. The children think it’s magic. Underneath, it’s nervous-system regulation, practised until it sticks.
From the early years sector
“I was genuinely in awe of her natural ability to connect, engage, and regulate the group with such calm confidence and joy. Her transitions between heightened and calm arousal states were seamless, creating a safe and nurturing rhythm for the children to follow... Her sessions are inclusive, creative, and therapeutic by nature, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other centres and schools I work with.”
Sarah RandallEarly Start Denver Model (ESDM) therapist“Marli Marli Early Learning highly recommends Marketa’s Kids Yoga for its gentle, play-based approach. The session was thoughtfully structured, making it easy for the children to follow and enjoy. The relaxed and engaging atmosphere helped our children stay focused while having fun.”
Ann-MareeCentre Director, Marli Marli Early Learning North Bondi“Marketa’s yoga classes have been such a hit with our preschoolers! Every Friday, she brings so much fun and calm to our day. It’s been wonderful to see the children grow more focused and relaxed each week.”

Questions directors ask
Our children are very young. Will they manage a class?
Yes. Sessions are built by age and stage from 2 years up. For the littlest ones it looks like guided play with breath and story woven through. No child is ever expected to sit still and be quiet for long stretches; the stillness grows out of the movement.
We’ve tried visiting programs before and the effect didn’t last.
That’s the exact problem COMPAS was built to solve. Your educators get simple tips between sessions and children practise the same tools weekly, so calm becomes a habit in your rooms, not a performance that leaves with the visitor.
How many children per session?
Standard room groups work well. I run back-to-back sessions so your whole centre can take part in one morning.
What does it cost?
Term partnerships are priced per session across an 8-week term, with the Experience Session credited when you continue. Ask me for the current term rate; I keep a small number of centre partnerships each term so every group gets full presence.
